I'm currently think that the best rosters for fantasy volleyball would be six person rosters to mirror the way the actual game is played, and to keep things simple for those who are new to the game. The big question is whether the rosters should be made up of players with specific positions, such as setter, middle blocker, outside hitter, opposite or libero, or whether all roster slots should be flexible.

I'd love to get feedback on the best statistics to use for fantasy volleyball scoring. I'm tentatively thinking that kills, assists, aces, block and digs make sense. Anything more is too complicated for new players to learn. Anything less is too simple and boring.

It's kind of amazing that there isn't a single Blogger site devoted to fantasy volleyball. A huge number of people play volleyball, and the fast action and short duration of points make for a great, high scoring fantasy game. I have some big ideas related to fantasy volleyball, so if you're interested in getting involved, let me know.
